A timeless retreat in the heart of the Cotswolds

Nestled in the charming village of Bledington, Glebe Cottage is a beautifully restored Grade II listed Cotswold stone property dating from the 17th to early 18th century — over 300 years of history in every stone.

Built in coursed, squared and dressed limestone beneath a traditional stone slate roof, the cottage retains many of its original features — including the distinctive stone-mullioned windows with double-chamfered and ovolo mouldings, and the characterful gabled canopy over the front door supported by wooden brackets. These are details that simply cannot be replicated.

Inside, two crackling log burners, a stunning copper bath, and lovingly furnished rooms across three double bedrooms create a retreat that weaves historic character together with every modern comfort. A living room, snug, summer room and conservatory give space for up to six guests to truly unwind. Well-behaved, medium-sized dogs are warmly welcomed — up to a maximum of two.

Bledington itself is the picture of an English village, complete with a babbling stream running through the village green, resident ducks included, the renowned Kings Head Inn just steps away, and an excellent village shop stocking all the basics alongside local produce — with a coffee shop to boot.

Please note: Glebe Cottage has steep stairs and may not be suitable for all guests. Do get in touch if you have any concerns.
