Glebe Cottage welcomes up to two medium sized dogs, with walking routes straight from the door and a proper dog friendly village pub two minutes away.
Bledington isn't a village that tolerates dogs — it's a village built around them. Between the walks from the doorstep, the garden to burn off energy in, and a local pub that means it when it says dogs are welcome, Glebe Cottage is set up properly for a holiday with your dog, not just permissive of one.

You don't need to drive anywhere to start walking. There are three circular walks that begin right in Bledington itself, and the village sits on the Oxfordshire Way, a long-distance path through some of the county's best countryside. A little further on foot is Foxholes Nature Reserve — over 165 acres of woodland, home to plenty of wildlife and particularly lovely in bluebell season.
The Kings Head Inn sits right on the village green, a two-minute walk from the cottage — a 16th century pub, Good Pub Guide's Inn of the Year in 2021, and genuinely dog friendly rather than just dog tolerant. It's the kind of place where the locals and their dogs mix at the bar as a matter of course.
Back at the cottage, there are three separate garden areas — front, side and enclosed rear — so your dog has plenty of space, and you've got a private spot to sit outside without needing to keep one eye on a shared space. The ground floor snug and living room, both with log burners, make for a cosy evening once the walking's done for the day.
